The Prevention Education Working Team's members are dedicated to teaching children and young adults about the responsible use of fire in the forest. The devastating effects of wildfires on both the forest and communities can be prevented with some basic knowledge about fire science. Understanding these basics and learning a few practices used by firefighters can be quite fun.
The following are activity sheets and links developed by the PEWT that can be used either at home or in the classroom for a variety of ages.
