The Prevention Education Working Team attends the New England Fire/Rescue/EMS’ Fire Expo every year. As one of the few WILDFIRE exhibitors at this expo, PEWT members answer questions and dispense news and information concerning the compact area, wildland fire prevention and methodology efforts as well as national updates relating to the wildland fire service.

Wildland firefighters, academy recruits, exhibitors and the public from the New England, New York, and farther reaching areas of the US and Canada are able to speak with their state/provincial prevention specialist. Attendance averages over 6000 visitors with almost 300 vendors exhibiting.
